Xavier Beach Volleyball traveled south to the Tucson area to participate in the CatBox Classic Beach Invitational featuring twelve schools. Matches were played at Ironwood Ridge and Amphitheater high schools.
On Friday, the twelve teams were placed into pools of three and played at least two full matches. As of the writing of this article, Friday results have not been posted online.
On Saturday, 64 pairs competed in pool play (four pairs per pool) spread out amongst three divisions:
- Open Group (top level, 8 pairs)
- Select Group (second level, 24 pairs)
- Club Group (third level, 32 pairs)
After playing three matches each, the pairs were placed into brackets. The Open Group had one bracket, the Select Group had two levels of brackets, and the Club Group had four levels of brackets.
When the dust settled at the end of the day, Xavier came out looking pretty good. The list below shows Xavier’s top three finishers:

- #3(tie): Kylie Barr / Emma Robescu – 5-1 Match Record
- #5(tie): Elle Freeland / Grace Graf – 4-1 Match Record
