Xavier Tennis and Xavier Softball did not allow any offensive production from their opponents yesterday.
Tennis collected their fourth shutout of the season with a 9-0 victory on their home court versus Perry. Softball racked up their fourth shutout by winning 14-0 at Corona del Sol, two days after blanking the same Aztecs 12-0 on Petznick Field.
Definitely a great day for Xavier sports fans.
GATOR TENNIS won all six Singles matches in straight sets (2-0). The three Doubles matches saw one rout (8-1) and two nail-biters. Our Gator winners are displayed in bold and listed on the right side of the graphic below from AzPreps.
Xavier is ranked #5 in Division 1 with a 7-1 record.
