This past week the Xavier archery team competed in the Annual Arete Bullseye Tournament. The Gators played well, earning an overall team score of 3042, which placed them third out of four teams.
Six Gators placed in the top 20 out of 88 high school girls and nine gators earned a new personal best.
- Junior Ali Acuna was our top scoring Gator with a score of 274, her personal best, which earned her 6th place.
- Our second top scoring archer was Junior Itzayana Coctecon-Cruz, who had an overall score of 267 and achieved 10th place.
- Yaya Monroy-Olguin earned a new personal best with a whopping 265 and placed 11th, just below Itzayana.
- One of our Seniors, Olivia Fisko, had an incredible score of 263 and was able to secure 15th place.
- Olivia Blackburn had a personal best of 262, which earned her 16th place for the Gators.
- Our last archer in the top 20, Savannah Simon, was able to earn 18th place with an impressive score of 258.
Overall, the Gators had a very successful tournament and their high scores display the skill level of each and every archer.
