The Xavier Archery team traveled to the Ben Avery Shooting Facility in North Phoenix on Saturday, February 8, to compete in the Annual Arete Fun Shoot. They took fourth place out of seven teams in the 3D tournament. Unlike the standard targets with concentric circles, 3D targets are life-like, animal-shaped foam targets.
Six Gators finished in the top twenty out of sixty-eight high school archers.
Note: a ten means they hit the bullseye.
